In late 2021, Chad Trail took the wheel of Europe Services Auto Repair, an established European car specialist shop in Killeen, Texas. He declared that he had big ambitions – “Our goal... is to become the best European auto repair shop... in Central Texas”. But lofty goals met a harsh reality: Europe Services had a broken online foundation.
The website was outdated and barely brought in customers. Worse, Chad didn’t even fully own or control his digital assets – his website, domain, and Google listing were essentially held hostage by past arrangements. There was zero tracking in place (no analytics, no call tracking), meaning no data on what marketing (if any) worked. Previous marketing attempts had left behind duplicate content on the site (hurting SEO) and nonexistent Google Ads data to learn from.
In Chad’s words, it felt like “throwing money into a void” with nothing to show for it.
Gulp. No pressure, right? Chad had just invested in this business and needed results fast to justify it.
Chad wanted more high-end European car owners driving into his shop – more BMWs, Audis, and Porsches in the bays – but the phone wasn’t ringing.
He turned to us at Rule Your Kingdom (RYK) with a simple plea: help turn this shop into a revenue machine. It was a huge challenge and an even bigger responsibility.
Fast forward 12 months: Europe Services was transformed. The phone rang off the hook with new customer inquiries. Monthly qualified leads skyrocketed from under ~100 to well over 160, then 280+. The shop’s sales revenue surged, shattering previous years’ numbers.
In fact, in the first three months of our campaign (Nov 2021 – Jan 2022), Europe Services’ revenue jumped about 18% higher than the same period a year prior – a nearly 25% jump in November alone (from ~$71k to ~$89k). By January, revenue was 31% higher year-over-year (rising from ~$54.5k to ~$71.4k). The growth only accelerated from there, month after month.
Chad finally had a flood of customers walking through his doors – and the luxury cars filling the shop proved it.

Transform your business with our proven 6-step process
Each step builds on the previous to create sustainable growth
(Sounds exciting? In this case study, I’m going to share exactly how we engineered these results – essentially a blueprint you could follow to grow your own auto repair business. And if you think, “This is great, but I’d rather have an expert team do it for me,” stick around – you’ll see how you can get a free website evaluation at the end.)
Let’s dive into the step-by-step story of how Europe Services went from a sputtering online presence to a finely-tuned lead-generation engine in under a year, and then kept gaining momentum beyond that.
First, we performed a thorough audit of the shop’s online situation. It confirmed what we suspected: the old website was not only underperforming – it wasn’t even truly owned by Chad. It was a cookie-cutter site controlled by a third party, meaning we had to start from scratch to give Chad the ownership and control he deserved.
Take back control of website, domain, and Google accounts. Centralize ownership so every ounce of SEO/PPC value accrues to the business owner.

We also discovered the shop’s Google Business Profile (critical for local search visibility) wasn’t properly claimed or managed by the new ownership (Chad). There were likely old ad accounts and listings floating out there that the previous owner or vendor controlled.
So, our priority #1 was taking back control of all digital assets. We guided the process with Google to claim and secure the Google Business Profile (GBP) for Europe Services Auto Repair under Chad’s ownership (ensuring the shop appears correctly on Google Maps and local search).
We worked with him to retrieve or recreate any necessary login credentials. In parallel, we decided to immediately move to build a new website on a domain that Chad would fully own. No more rental template – this would be his site. We were prepared to start over from scratch with a brand new domain if we had to, because the current domain’s credibility with Google was nothing spectacular.
But, the ideal scenario would be to help Chad gain control of the existing domain (figure out a way to wrestle it away from the third-party provider who was holding it hostage) because this domain at least had some history with both the search engines and the public at large. Fortunately, we were able to work closely with Chad and guide him in what to say and what documents to give the third-party provider to essentially force their hand in releasing what was rightly Chad’s domain to him.
Once this was done, the next step was to set his domain up on a speedy, reliable hosting platform to give the business a stable online home. By the time we finished this process, Chad clearly understood that ownership of all of his digital assets was key. This way, all the valuable content and any SEO/PPC gains would belong to the client, not some third party. By the end of this step, Chad had the “keys” to everything: website, domain, Google accounts – you name it.
Never let your business’s online presence rest in someone else’s hands. Secure ownership of your website, domain, and profiles. It’s the foundation for all your marketing and one of the business’s most valuable assets – you can’t optimize what you don’t control.
In researching what was needed, we discovered that much of the old site’s content was duplicated or boilerplate text – obviously copy-pasted from a generic template. This duplicate content was holding back organic rankings. So, we wrote fresh, original content - first for for this temporary, one-page site, and then (over the next several months) for every key page. Each page would get unique, information-rich text that showcased the shop’s expertise. By cleaning up duplicate content and providing valuable info (starting with this first page), we set the stage for Google to start favoring Europe Services in search results.
We made sure the new page was modern, mobile-friendly, and fast-loading – crucial for capturing those impatient searchers. We prominently featured the shop’s key selling points (e.g. certified mechanics, fast turnaround, warranty on repairs, etc.) and plastered clear calls-to-action throughout (“Schedule An Appointment Today” – in this case, a prompt to contact the shop or request a quote). The phone number was big and bold at the top, with a tracking number (more on that soon) to measure calls. We included an easy contact form for those who prefer online booking. Importantly, we wrote compelling copy that spoke directly to what car owners care about: honest service, reliable repairs, and getting back on the road quickly.
Transform a cookie-cutter template into a high-converting landing page that turns clicks into customers
The result? The moment we started sending ad clicks to this tailored page, the leads started pouring in (after we completed the next step, which was to build out and launch a fresh Google Ads campaign). Suddenly, people who clicked on Europe Services’ ads stayed on the page (lower bounce rate) and took action. The landing page was doing its job: turning costly clicks into valuable customers.
Within a matter of weeks, Europe Services Auto Repair had a fresh new web presence that Chad controlled and that was built to convert visitors into customers. No more generic fluff – this page was all about capturing leads.
We continued to build out all the rest of the pages of the fully SEO-engineered website in the background over the next several months, but this landing page meant we could start PPC immediately rather than waiting.
Don’t let a bad website choke your marketing. Even a single, well-crafted landing page can dramatically improve conversion rates. Focus on clear messaging, highlight what makes your shop different, and make it extremely easy for visitors to contact you.
With tracking in place and our landing page ready, we turned our attention to Google Ads (formerly AdWords). Previously, Europe Services had either not done any Google Ads (even though the previous web provider said they had been doing it) or had done it blindly – there was no historical data to learn from. We effectively started from scratch, which was both a challenge and an opportunity.
First, we performed deep keyword research specific to the european auto repair niche and Chad’s market. We identified the high-intent search terms that European car owners in Central Texas would use when desperate for service. Think along the lines of “BMW repair Killeen”, “Mercedes mechanic near me”, “Audi service shop Texas”. We discovered some interesting nuggets – for instance, a lot of local users searched for “BMW oil change Killeen” and “European auto performance upgrade”.
This told us there was demand not just for repairs but also performance tuning (a lucrative service Chad offered).
We structured the new Google Ads account into tightly themed campaigns and ad groups.
One campaign targeted general European auto repair keywords, with ad groups split by brand (one for BMW-related terms, one for Mercedes, Audi, etc.). Another campaign focused on performance tuning & upgrades.
We wrote compelling ad copy that spoke directly to the searcher’s need. For example, an ad for our BMW group might say: “BMW Certified Mechanics – Europe Services Auto – Dealer Quality at Local Shop Prices.”
Each ad emphasized the unique selling propositions: factory-trained techs, 36-month warranty, free shuttle service, whatever set Europe Services apart from the generic chain down the street.
Data-driven from Day 1: tightly themed campaigns, brand ad groups, and real conversion tracking to optimize fast

Linked Ads ⇄ Analytics ⇄ CallRail
Paused low-performers; scaled high-converters within weeks
Crucially, we set up conversion tracking in Google Ads (linked with our Analytics and CallRail). From Day 1, we could see which keywords and ads were driving calls or form submissions. This data-driven approach let us optimize quickly: within a couple of weeks, we paused keywords that got clicks but no leads, and increased bids on the high-converting keywords. We also scheduled ads to run during business hours (no point paying for clicks at midnight when the shop’s closed). Every dollar spent was now accountable and being continually reallocated to maximize ROI.
Within the first month, the Google Ads started delivering a steady stream of leads. Europe Services jumped from getting virtually no calls from Google Ads to getting dozens. In January 2022 alone, our ads generated 49 qualified phone calls (qualified meaning that they lasted longer than 60 seconds), compared to only ~15 from ads the month before we started. And this was just the beginning.
While the paid ads brought immediate traffic, we knew that long-term, Organic SEO would be a game changer for Europe Services’ revenue (free traffic, yes please!). So, in parallel, we executed an aggressive local SEO and content strategy.
First, we fully optimized Europe Services’ Google Business Profile (GBP) (formerly Google My Business). We ensured NAP (Name, Address, Phone) consistency across the web, updated the GBP listing with new photos of the shop and team, and peppered the description with relevant keywords (European auto repair, Killeen TX, etc.). We also helped Chad implement a process to get more Google reviews from happy customers – a critical factor for local SEO. Within months, Europe Services’ map listing rose into the coveted “3-Pack” for searches like “European car repair near me” in the area, driving more calls and clicks from local customers.

On the website SEO front, aside from cleaning up the duplicate content (as mentioned in Step 2), we expanded the site’s content significantly. We noticed the old site only had detailed pages for BMW and Mercedes services. So we created new pages targeting other makes (Audi Repair, Volkswagen Service, Jaguar Maintenance, etc.) and other high-margin services (performance tuning, ECU remapping, etc.). Each page was SEO-optimized with the right keywords in titles and headings, but written in a way that genuinely educated the reader (e.g. a “Mini Service and Repair” page discussed common Mini issues and how Europe Services fixes them). Over time, these pages started ranking for their specific search terms, funneling in highly qualified organic traffic (because someone searching “Audi repair Killeen” is likely ready to book service, not just browsing).
We also deployed a content marketing angle: writing a few blog articles that targeted niche long-tail keywords.
For example, a blog on “5 Signs Your BMW Needs Service Before a Road Trip” or “How European Car Maintenance Differs from Domestic – What to Know”.
These not only provided SEO value but also gave us great material to share on social media or in email newsletters to engage existing customers (remember, an informed customer is more likely to become a repeat customer!).
All the on-site SEO work was complemented by off-site efforts: we systematically built high-quality backlinks. We got Europe Services listed in reputable automotive directories and local Chamber of Commerce sites, earned a couple of press mentions (including a press release about the new ownership and upgrades), and even did a little outreach to auto enthusiast forums and blogs. Bit by bit, Google took notice. Rankings climbed across dozens of keywords. Impressions and clicks from organic search grew each month.
By mid-2022, Europe Services’ website was appearing on Page 1 of Google for hundreds of relevant keywords – from broad terms like “European auto repair Texas” to very specific queries like “certified BMW mechanic Killeen”. Chad effectively became the online authority for European car service in his region, outranking even some dealership service centers on certain searches. This organic visibility meant a continuous pipeline of free leads coming in, on top of the paid leads.
One thing we impressed on Chad: digital marketing isn’t a one-and-done. It’s more like tuning a high-performance engine – you keep tweaking to squeeze out more power. So, we didn’t stop after launching ads and doing the initial SEO. We entered a cycle of measure → analyze → optimize, constantly, to drive even better results (and leave competitors in the dust).
On the Google Ads side, we reviewed the campaign performance every week. We identified which search queries were converting the best and adjusted bids accordingly. Some keywords performed so well that we increased the budget on those campaigns to capture more volume. In fact, over the course of two years, we significantly scaled up the ad spend – from roughly $1,000/month to over $4,000/month by 2025 – but we did so profitably because our cost per lead kept dropping.
Efficiency improved while scaling up
Efficiency Gain
$1K → $4K/mo
Same budget now generates twice the leads
Figure: Google Ads Efficiency Over Time (2021–2025).
As we optimized campaigns, the cost per lead plummeted from ~$45 to ~$25, even as monthly ad spend increased from under $1K to over $4K. In other words, we squeezed far more leads out of a larger budget – a testament to continual tuning and data-driven adjustments. Lower bars (orange) indicate higher spend, while the blue line shows the declining cost per lead.
The efficiency gains were remarkable: initially, leads from Google Ads cost about $45 each, but through careful optimizations (better keyword quality scores, improved ad relevance, negative keywords to cut waste, etc.), we got the cost-per-lead down to around $25 by 2024. That’s nearly half the cost, meaning Chad was getting twice as many leads for the same ad dollar by the end of our campaign compared to the start.
Our SEO work also evolved. We monitored Google Analytics and Search Console religiously. If we saw certain pages with high bounce rates, we’d refine their content or add a more prominent CTA on those pages (“Schedule your service now”). We noted which blog posts were getting traction and made sure to include internal links from those posts to our key service pages (to funnel that interest into action). Through Google Search Console, we discovered new keywords people were using to find the site and then created content to target those terms deliberately. It was a continuous feedback loop – Google would hint at opportunities, we’d seize them, and the site would rise even higher.
On the local front, we encouraged Chad to keep collecting reviews. He went from a handful of Google reviews to dozens of 5-star reviews. This not only boosted consumer trust (who doesn’t check reviews before choosing a mechanic?) but also helped maintain his top spot in Google’s local listings. We even leveraged those positive reviews as content, featuring a “Customer of the Week” highlight on social media, etc., to keep engagement up.
Every month, we’d share a report with Chad: how many leads came from organic vs paid, which services were most requested, what the ROI was (it was soaring). This transparency built even more trust. Chad could see the hockey-stick growth in the charts and knew the investment was paying off. In our meetings, he’d sometimes be nearly speechless at the numbers – “Are these for real?!” became a running joke as each month outdid the last.
By continually fine-tuning both Ads and SEO, we created a marketing machine that kept getting better with time. No complacency here – our motto was “always be optimizing.”
After 12 months of this intensive overhaul, the change in Europe Services Auto Repair was nothing short of dramatic. And it didn’t stop at one year – the growth continued into year 2, 3, and beyond.
Let’s look at some of the standout results:
When we started, Europe Services was getting roughly ~100 leads per month (almost all from organic, and many of those likely unqualified). One year in, that number had jumped to ~165+ leads/month. By the end of 2023, they were seeing 200+ leads each month. And by mid-2025, the business hit an all-time high of 288 leads in a single month (that’s almost 3 times the lead volume from when we started!).
These weren’t tire-kickers either – thanks to our tracking, we know these were genuine inquiries from European car owners in the service area. The phone that used to be quiet was now ringing off the hook daily. The service bay schedule filled up weeks in advance with appointments.
Steady, compounding growth across paid and organic channels — and the flywheel keeps spinning
Figure: Growth in Monthly Leads from Google Ads and Organic Search (Jul 2021 – Jun 2025
Europe Services saw a steady climb in incoming leads. The green line shows leads from Organic SEO, and the orange line shows leads from Google Ads. Both channels grew significantly over four years. Notice the big jumps starting late 2021 into 2022 – that’s when our campaign kicked in. By 2025, organic and paid channels were each delivering over 120 leads per month, a huge improvement from the 15 (Ads) and 84 (Organic) leads per month we began with.
Europe Services now owns the top spots for practically every relevant search query in their region. Search for “European auto repair Killeen” or “best BMW mechanic Central TX” and you’ll find Europe Services at or near the top of the organic results and in the local map pack. The site is ranking for hundreds of keywords. This broad visibility means free customer acquisition: people find the shop whenever they’re looking for the services it offers, without Chad needing to spend a dime on those clicks. By our estimates, the amount of traffic coming in organically (over 1,500 targeted visitors a month by late 2022) would have cost several thousand dollars in ads if he were to pay for those clicks, but SEO earned them “free.”
We tracked call volume meticulously. Back in mid-2021, Europe Services got only a handful of calls via the website/Google each week – many weren’t even quality leads. After our campaign, call volume quadrupled. For example, in January 2021 the shop had about 12 calls from organic search; by January 2022 that jumped to dozens, and by January 2023 it was over 60 calls. And that’s after filtering out short calls (wrong numbers, etc.). The service calendar moved from sparse to fully booked. Chad had to hire another certified mechanic and an extra service advisor just to keep up with demand – a great problem to have!
Ultimately, all those leads and calls translated into dollars. Chad saw his monthly revenue more than double from when we started to the end of our first year. It went from roughly ~$70k/month in 2021 to consistently ~$100k+ per month in 2022. And the trajectory kept climbing: by late 2024, the shop cracked $180k in a single month, and in early 2025, it hit $228k in monthly sales – that’s over 3× growth in about 3 years. To put it in perspective, what was a ~$800k/year business became a multi-million dollar operation.
Immediate year-over-year gains—and compounding growth that scaled the shop to multi-million-dollar revenue
Result: Over 3× revenue growth in ~3 years — from struggling to thriving
Figure: Year-over-Year Revenue Increase in the First 3 Months of the Campaign
We launched full throttle in November 2021, and the impact on revenue was immediate. November 2021 saw about a 25% increase over Nov 2020’s revenue. December held steady (flat vs. the previous year), and then January 2022 jumped 31% higher than January 2021. This strong start built the momentum that continued throughout 2022. By consistently improving marketing performance, we ensured that each year we leaped ahead of the last.
Perhaps the most gratifying outcome was hearing from Chad himself. Remember, this is a business owner who, before RYK, felt totally frustrated by wasted marketing spend and lackluster results.
After seeing his shop’s transformation, Chad was over the moon. He told us that bringing in RYK was “the best decision I’ve made for the business”.
In his own words: “We went from almost invisible online to being everywhere. Now, new customers say they see us all over Google. Our bays are full of high-end cars, and I’ve had to expand my team. I finally feel in control of our growth.”
He admitted that initially he was skeptical - could a better website and SEO really make that much difference? - But once the calls and sales started surging, he was a believer. The smile on his face in the testimonial video he sent us said it all.
Chad’s success story is powerful not just because his numbers went up, but because it gave him something priceless as a business owner: peace of mind and pride. Instead of worrying about making ends meet, he’s recently brought us in to turbocharge his marketing in yet another auto repair shop he’s purchased in Central Texas.
As you can see, a well-executed online marketing blueprint can drive dramatic growth in leads and revenue. Reading about Europe Services’ journey, you might be thinking, “This sounds amazing, but can I really do all that?”
It’s normal to feel a bit overwhelmed. Chad’s success came from a lot of moving parts working together – and if you’re busy running a shop, tuning engines, and managing customers, tackling websites, SEO, and ads might be the last thing you have time for.
